Occupational Therapy in Toronto
Helping You Function Better in Daily Life, Work, and Health
Occupational Therapy (OT) is a client-centered healthcare service that helps individuals improve their ability to perform everyday activities safely, independently, and effectively.
“Occupations” refer to the daily tasks that are meaningful and necessary for living such as self-care, work, school, and participation in home and community life. Occupational Therapy focuses on how physical health, cognitive functioning, and emotional wellbeing impact your ability to carry out these activities.
OT can support individuals recovering from injury or trauma, as well as those managing chronic conditions, disabilities, or mental health challenges. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Occupational Therapy addresses how those challenges affect real-life functioning and provides practical strategies to improve independence and quality of life.
We provide both private (self-referred) Occupational Therapy services and insurance-based rehabilitation services (e.g., WSIB, motor vehicle accident claims, and long-term disability cases). Each pathway involves a different level of assessment, reporting, and treatment planning.
Our approach is functional, evidence-based, and tailored to real-world outcomes, helping you safely and effectively return to the activities that matter most.
